WATCH: Trump Falsely Claims Californians Rioting Over Sanctuary Cities

President Donald Trump on Monday continued to lie about people in California “rioting” over their objections to “sanctuary cities” — localities that limit their cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

At a political rally Saturday, Trump falsely claimed that Californians “are rioting now. They want to get out of their sanctuary cities.” There’s no evidence of any such rioting, however. He repeated the same lie on Monday.
