President Donald Trump on Monday continued to lie about people in California “rioting” over their objections to “sanctuary cities” — localities that limit their cooperation with federal immigration authorities.
At a political rally Saturday, Trump falsely claimed that Californians “are rioting now. They want to get out of their sanctuary cities.” There’s no evidence of any such rioting, however. He repeated the same lie on Monday.

I’m surprised he didn’t call them “big, beautiful riots”.
With Trump, the only real news is the rare occasion when he isn’t lying.
Has that happened? I must have missed it.
We’re rioting because there are never enough EV charging stations. We’re rioting because avocados are going out of season. We’re rioting because our cannabis is too strong and over taxed. Well, maybe there’s some eye-rolling. In actual fact, the only rioting I’ve been aware of has been sparked by gatherings of Nazis (i.e., the base).
