President Donald Trump refused to accept a reporter’s premise that Tuesday night was not a “complete victory” for the Republicans, countering that losing an entire chamber and a slew of governorships was “very close to a complete victory.”

But it wasn’t a complete victory. It was a defeat. The Democratic House of Representatives will issue subpoenas right and left, because you lost. Look at the economy, look at the wars we aren’t fighting – and your team lost. You’re supposed to be a leader for your party (and your country, but I digress…). You are instead an anchor on your party.
I hope you don’t obsess over the fact that you lost. That would be sad (or unhealthy).
This was a tactical R defeat while being a strategic victory for them…
The senate is locked up until 2024…
Mueller better have a bomb to drop…
No, losing the House is not a strategic victory. The Senate faced a hopeless map, was Republican already, and lost a net of two or three seats.
Democratic self-flagellation looks idiotic.
But then how else are people to supposed to engage in maudlin bullshit
