Yeezus walks (into Trump Tower).

Rapper and clothing designer Kanye West paid a visit to Trump Tower Tuesday morning, posing for a photo op with the President-elect to the confusion of many.

The two walked out of the elevator into the Trump Tower lobby and posed for a photo in front of the transition press pool. When reporters asked West what he was doing there, he didn’t have much to say.

“I just wanted to take a picture right now,” West said.

Though the meeting shocked some, Trump said the two have been close for some time.

“We’ve been friends for a long time,” Trump said. “Life.”

West, who infamously vowed to run for president in 2020, made waves several weeks ago when he said that he did not vote, but if he had, he would have voted for Trump. The rapper infamously featured a nude, wax statue of Trump in the music video for his song “Famous.”

West has donated to the Democratic Party in the past and his wife, Kim Kardashian-West, was a supporter of Hillary Clinton.

West was recently admitted to a hospital for psychiatric issues after he walked out of one of his concerts, but checked out of the facility on Nov. 30th.

It was not immediately clear why West was visiting Trump Tower, but Trump has yet to publicly announce his inauguration day performers.
