Donald Trump said on Friday night that Hillary Clinton could shoot someone in public and not be prosecuted for the crime.

“She is being so protected. She could walk into this arena right now and shoot somebody with 20,000 people watching––right smack in the middle of the heart––and she wouldn’t be prosecuted,” he said at a rally in Florida.

He made the comment while discussing the federal government’s decision not to charge Clinton after an investigation into her use of a private email server.

His remark was reminiscent of a comment he made in January while discussing how well he was doing in the Republican primary.

“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump said at an Iowa rally in January.
