Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said in an interview aired Sunday that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has killed “hundreds of thousands of people with her stupidity.”
Trump told Fox News host Chris Wallace that Clinton is responsible for the deaths as a result of her tenure as secretary of state.
“She is the one that caused all this problem with her stupid policies,” Trump said. “She talks about me being dangerous. She’s killed hundreds of thousands of people with her stupidity.”
Wallace asked Trump to clarify.
“She was secretary of state,” Trump said. “Obama was President — the team. Two real geniuses.”
