A lawyer might suggest you should never ask a question to which you do not know the answer. But Donald Trump is a very stable genius who has good instincts for this sort of thing, unlike those stodgy (or boring!) legal types. I’m sure there’s no way such a request could blow up in his face. Gory photos plastered over a Turkish newspaper’s front page, or something.
While you’re at it Mr. President, ask the Saudis where this guy is? We have tape of him entering their embassy and no corresponding tape of him coming out. His fiancée, an American citizen, waited for eleven hours for him to reappear, and nothing. Seems like a reasonable question. Get back to us when you have an answer.
This nonsense only makes him look worse and has absolutely no upside. All he has to say is that they’re still investigating and deciding the best avenue to take. That’s what any smart president would do whether or not they were stalling.
But Trump’s the dumbest man alive because he honestly believes his obvious flim-flammy lies actually work and refuses to stop telling them. If he did nothing but practice putting in the Oval Office and never tweeted, he’d be ten points higher in the polls right now and in far less trouble.
He already ‘asked’ that ‘question’.
