Top staffers Max Pappas, vice president for public policy, and Brendan Steinhauser, director of campaigns, are leaving the group in the wake of co-founder Dick Armey’s contentious departure. According to Roll Call, the shakeup stems from ongoing disputes over the direction of FreedomWorks, although details on the nature of the conflict are scarce.
