Top GOP Senator Accuses Dems Protesting Kavanaugh Of ‘Mob Rule’

The continued interruptions of Senate Democrats seeking to delay Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings due to a last minute document dump prompted a sharp rebuke from Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), the number two Senate Republican, who called their tactics “mob rule.”

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who had unsuccessfully requested a vote on his motion to adjourn the hearing,  pushed back on Cornyn’s claim.

Far from mob rule, far from contempt of the process. We’re simply asking for respect here, to the normal regular order,” Blumenthal said, in renewing a call for a vote on his motion to adjourn.

  1. Who could possibly be more "mob rule "than the disingenuous enablers of a crime boss president? They have already flummoxed a portion of low IQ citizens, please, leave the rest of us to yearn for a civil, inclusive representative America.

  2. How can democrats simultaneously be an elite minority that’s out of touch and a mob?
