Pope Francis is scheduled to be on this week’s cover of Time magazine, with a picture that shows him as he arrived in the United States for the first time.
The cover photograph will accompany a story about his visit to America. An excerpt of that article, the full version of which scheduled to be available Thursday, can be read here.
Time announced the cover on social media Tuesday:

I find this man to be adorable. I’m a non-believer…but I am very fond of this man.
Is this an ad?
That’s a lovely photo. I’m very fond of him too.
Well, I watched a lot of the festivities today and he is truly an amazing, real human being who’s eyes light up when he 's around people and loves to embrace and hug and touch. It’s nice to see the throngs of people in this country who love him and couldn’t wait to see him. I think the Republicans will rue the day they denounced him for taking a stand on climate change and economic injustice.
…Reckon this will shove MikeHuckabuck over the edge?
