CREDO SuperPAC launched a “Take Down the Tea Party Ten” campaign aimed at several members of Congress they believe are vulnerable in 2012.
The targeted members are Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), Rep. Steve King (R-IA), Rep. Allen West (R-FL), Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), Rep. Frank Guinta (R-NH) and Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN). From a press release:
The multi-million dollar independent expenditure operation will spend an estimated $3 million to target the most extreme Tea Party Republicans where grassroots organizing by progressive activists both online and in the field can narrow the gap between victory and defeat and retire some of the worst members of Congress.
