Colbert Asks Pope Francis To Be Friends Through Song (VIDEO)

“Late Show” host and well-known Catholic Stephen Colbert had a special message for Pope Francis on Thursday as Pope Mania overtook New York City: Let’s be friends.

“Just text me a sad-face emoji and soon I will be there with some frankincense and we’ll burn that mother down,” Colbert sang with band leader Jon Batiste on piano. “So just chant out my name. And unless the traffic is bad, I”ll come running, Frank baby. And we will transcend.”
