Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary manager of the English Premier League’s Manchester United, will retire at the end of this season, the club announced Wednesday.
In 26 years with the club, Ferguson won 13 EPL titles and two European championships. After the club’s final match against West Bromwich Albion on May 19, Ferguson will move on to serve as director and ambassador of Manchester United, perhaps the most popular athletic team in the world.
