Senate Judiciary Committee Announces Hearing On Ted Stevens Prosecution

The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing next Wednesday focused on the report about how Justice Department prosecutors botched the case against the late former Sen. Ted Stevens (R), Chairman Sen. Patrick Leahy (D) said Wednesday.

Hank Schuelke, the investigator appointed by U.S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan to look into allegations of prosecutorial misconduct, will be testifying at the hearing, Leahy said in a statement.
