A U.S. Secret Service officer was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Friday and will be charged with one misdemeanor count for destruction of property, CNN reported.
U.S. Secret Service Spokesman Brian Leary told CNN that “an off duty USSS Uniformed Division Officer assigned to Foreign Missions Branch was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C.”
According to CNN, the officer was placed on administrative leave and had his security clearance suspended.
Earlier this week, a senior Secret Service agent was placed on administrative leave after a female agent accused him of sexually assaulting her.
So I guess the Secret Service is filled with men who are basically the equivalent of Chief Wiggums. If I were Obama, I might think about sleeping with a gun under my pillow because I’m not sure those knuckleheads are up to the task. They’re more likely to shoot themselves in the White House bathroom while taking a dump.
Not to worry. A rigorous new training program is in place, and the new recruits will provide reliable service.
