A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy wounded in a shootout with a man believed to be fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner went into surgery Tuesday afternoon and was expected to live, sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said during a press conference.
A second deputy died from his wounds after the gun fight.
