The San Diego Union Tribune this weekend apologized for running a gun show ad on the same page as a news story about the school shooting at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colo.
The ad, which offered $1 off admission to the Western Americana and Gun Show, ran in Saturday’s newspaper, according to Poynter.

On Sunday, the newspaper ran an apology stating that the “adjacency was unintentional, and U-T San Diego apologizes for the oversight.”
