Ron Paul launched a new TV ad in Iowa and New Hampshire on Monday titled “Big Dog” to push the message that Paul is the only candidate who will actually cut spending. In the ad, five different government departments go up in smoke, and Paul pledges to cut $1 trillion per year from the federal budget in his first year. When it comes to cutting spending, the ad says, Paul’s opponents whine “like little shih tzus.”
