Mitt Romney praised the United States as a “nation of immigrants” in his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday. He praised a long list of freedoms such as the freedom of religion that drew immigrants to America, adding to the list: “freedom to build a life, and yes, freedom to build a business with their own hands.”
