Mitt Romney issued the following statement on the shooting at Chardon High School near Cleveland, Ohio Monday morning:
I am greatly saddened to hear about the senseless shooting that struck the community of Chardon, Ohio this morning. Ann and I join with the people of Ohio and the country in offering our prayers for the victims and their families.
Four students from a neighboring high school were shot Monday morning in the cafeteria of Chardon High School. No fatalies have been reported.
