The consensus on twitter is that Romney made a big error by offering a $10 thousand bet to Rick Perry that he hadn’t changed his book about suggesting the MA healthcare mandate should become a federal mandate. The email opens with two bold sentences:

It then goes on to list a number of commentators suggesting Perry erred the last time he raised this issue, and also turns fire on Newt Gingrich, saying that he is the only candidate to have really come out swinging for the federal mandate in the past.
