RNC Chair: ‘Tremendous Benefit’ If 2016 Nominee Speaks Spanish

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Monday said the party’s 2016 presidential nominee doesn’t need to speak spanish but it would be a “tremendous benefit” if he or she did.

“It’s a tremendous asset to be able to have, and so I don’t think it’s necessary, but it certainly is a bonus,” Priebus said at a press conference announcing the party’s roadmap after the 2012 elections.
