Voters are not thrilled with the field of GOP candidates. A new survey from the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press shows that Republican and Republican-leaning voters are less satisfied with the Republican field than they were at the beginning of the month, with those rating the field fair or poor rising from 44% to 52%.
The same survey found that 55% of all voters believe President Obama understands the hardships average Americans face. That number is significantly lower for Newt Gingrich (36%) and Mitt Romney (39%).
