New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) will have lunch with President Donald Trump this week, according to multiple reports.

Christie, who was replaced just days after Election Day as chairman of Trump’s transition team by Vice President Mike Pence, has since been critical at times of Trump’s White House team.

Politico and NJ.com reported the meeting on Sunday and Monday, respectively, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the situation. The latter reported that the meeting was scheduled for Tuesday.

Days after Trump’s immigration executive order caused chaos at airports and refugee camps worldwide, Christie criticized the implementation of the order.

“The President deserved much better than the roll-out that he got of this plan,” he said.

The meeting comes at a tumultuous time for the White House, especially after reports that national security adviser Michael Flynn discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador to the United States before Trump was inaugurated.

Other reports indicate that Trump is also unhappy with White House chief of staff Reince Priebus’ job performance.
