Great, 1/3 of a ton of heaving, wheezing, pasty man-flesh jointly running the country
Christie is all over this, knowing full well that the COS’s prime responsibility is arrange for the KFC and Mickey D’s to be available at all times…
I think Christie would simultaneously be a pretty good choice for both the administration and for the country, actually.
Since this administration cannot do even the little things right, it’s therefore gonna be Jared.
True story relevant to the headlines: Trump might have had a more normal transition if he’d let Christie handle it. But Christie raised some money to cover expenses and then took it and, you know, actually covered expenses. And Trump heard about it and got enraged, saying “You’re stealing from me!” Because if money comes Trump’s way he figures it’s his money. So they stopped doing a normal transition and never recovered. Supposedly this is all in the Woodward book.
Unless Christie’s more of a glutton for punishment than he is for food, I don’t think it would work for long. Christie’s a hothead who yells at anyone who criticizes or questions him, and we know what Trump is. I’d think it would last two, three Scaramuccis.
What’s Christie been doing with his time since 2016? I see him occasionally on the talking head shows – he has a very round talking head – but I don’t know what he’s doing during the week. Does Chick-Fil-A deliver in New Jersey?
