Mitt Romney has granted interviews to authors working on books that detail the 2012 presidential campaign, Politico reported Monday.

Citing “two sources familiar with the conversations,” Politico reported that Romney has talked to Dan Balz, author of “Collision 2012: Obama vs. Romney and the Future of Elections in America,” as well as Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, authors of “Double Down: Game Change 2012.”

“Collision” is due out in August, while “Game Change 2012” is scheduled to be released in November.
