Apple will unveil the iPad 3 in the first week of March, according to a report from the reliable All Things D. The unveiling will occur in San Francisco, according to the website’s sources, and the device itself will resemble the iPad 2 with a faster processor and a higher-resolution display (2048×1536). All Things D reporter John Paczkowski speculates that the new iPad will be available for purchase beginning “a week or so after the event.” The rumor mill about specs has overtaken many gadget blogs as well.
