At CPAC, Rep. Steve King mocked a policy of banning happy meals in California.
“I look around and see California. They banned happy meals unless it meets the right quota for calories and fruit and vegetables. And San Francisco, they prohibit the disparagement of the short, fat, tall, and the skinny. So who’s that leave? I don’t know anybody that isn’t one of those four things. I mean you’re not tall and short at the same time or fat and skinny at the same time. But I guess I’m short and fat is what I am. So I’m safe in San Francisco.”
The line “I guess I’m short and fat is what I am. So I’m safe in San Francisco” could also be interpreted as a comment about gays in San Francisco.
