Democratic Reps. Chris Van Hollen (MD) and Gerald Connolly (VA) proposed Tuesday a resolution authorizing a military strike in Syria.
The resolution shares some similiarities — strict time limit for U.S. involvement (60 days in House version) and restrictions against use of ground troops — with the Senate version released Tuesday night. The Senate resolution will be marked up by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
