Journalists covering Mike Pence on Friday reported that they were removed from a restaurant where they were waiting for the vice presidential nominee to finish eating after a video showing Trump boasting about his conquests of women and making predatory comments was published.
According to Vaughn Hillyard, a reporter working for NBC News, Pence’s protective pool was “removed” from “Tony Packo’s in Toldedo after the release of these newest stories on Donald Trump.”
Pence’s protective pool is in charge of following the Indiana governor’s daily activities and filing reports on the activities of the candidate. Hillyard reported that Pence was still inside eating when the revelations dropped.
