Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) were the first presidential candidates to weigh in on Friday’s shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood that left three including a police officer dead. Both included the hashtag #StandWithPP in their tweets Friday evening reacting to the attack.

It is still unclear whether the suspected gunman, identified as Robert Lewis Dear, had a motive in attacking the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs. He was detained by authorities after an hourslong standoff.

The White House released a statement on the shooting Saturday morning, in which President Obama called for something to be done “about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them.”

  1. When asked for a statement about the Planned Parenthood murders, Trump stated, “Eh, maybe they deserved to get roughed up a little.” Carly Fiorina simply smiled with her face.

  2. Thanks, Carly!

  3. If we take away guns with large magazine clips from the crazy gun-obsessed only the less crazy gun nuts and moderately paranoid will have them. Just where exactly do we draw the line?
