Pope Francis revealed during a conversation Thursday with NBC News’ Anne Thompson that he plans to visit Philadelphia.

NBC News reported that Francis told Thompson about his plans to travel to America’s “City of Brotherly Love.” He mentioned the city’s World Family Day, which is scheduled for September 2015. The affirmation is unusual this early since Francis’ travel plans are typically not announced by the Vatican more than six months in advance.

The interview took place while Francis was traveling to Seoul, his first ever trip to Asia, to celebrate Asian Youth Day. He used the visit to stress the importance of “peace and reconciliation” on the divided Korean Peninsula, NBC reported.
