The gunman in Friday’s shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., had hundreds of rounds of ammunition, police said Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
“There was a lot of ammo, a lot of clips,” Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said. “Certainly a lot of lives were potentially saved.”
