The candidates at the Republican debate were asked whether they agreed with Mitt Romney’s past statements that his record in Massachusetts would provide a good model for the country.
No candidates agreed — but Rick Perry chimed in.
“It was a great opportunity for us to see as a people what will not work,” said Perry, “and that is an individual mandate in this country.”
