President Barack Obama on Friday reiterated that while he has not made a final decision whether to intervene military in Syria, any possible action would be limited in scope and brief in duration.
“We’re not considering any open ended commitment. We’re not considering any boots on the ground approach,” Obama said during a meeting with Baltic leaders at the White House.
“A lot of people think something should be done but nobody wants to do it.” he added.
“There is a certain weariness, given Afghanistan. There is a certain suspicion of any military action post-Iraq. And I very much appreciate that,” he continued.
