Obama To Ask Congress For Power To Shrink Gov’t

President Obama will ask Congress on Friday for the power to combine several trade and commerce agencies to shrink the size of the federal government, the Washington Post reports. The White House says the plan could eliminate more than 1,000 jobs and save $3 billion over 10 years, according to the Post.
