James B. Comey, Jr., President Barack Obama’s nominee to serve as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will appear at a confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET.

Comey is expected to be dealt tough questions from the lawmakers on government surveillance and enemy interrogations, according to the New York Times.
