Obama Rebuffs Romney Line On ‘Exceptionalism’

At a press conference with the Canadian Prime Minister and Mexico’s President Calderon today at the White House, President Obama rebuffed a question about an attack line by Mitt Romney intimating that he didn’t believe in American exceptionalism.

“I will cut folks some slack right now because they’re still trying to get their nomination,” Obama retorted, saying his entire career has been a testimony to American exceptionalism.
