President Obama was notified last night that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens was unaccounted for. Obama was notified this morning of Stevens’ death, the White House said.
A White House official said Obama was informed of the situation in Libya multiple times Tuesday evening by National Security Adviser Tom Donilon.
