President Barack Obama on Thursday is slated to host Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras for a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office.
According to the White House, the meeting will “will highlight the strength of the U.S.-Greek relationship and underscore our ongoing support for Greece’s efforts to reform its economy and promote a return to prosperity, as well as our cooperation on a broad array of mutual interests and challenges, including defense, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, counterterrorism, prospects for a settlement in Cyprus, and developments in the region, North Africa, and Syria.”
The two are scheduled to meet at 2:55 p.m. ET.
