President Obama will be the first guest on the season premiere of Jerry Seinfeld’s web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” according to a Monday news release.
The show was filmed earlier this month and shows Seinfeld and Obama driving around the South Lawn in a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe and talking over coffee in a White House dining room, according to the release.
“Growing up in the ’60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut—doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space,” Seinfeld was quoted as saying in the release. ‘How did I get here?’ ‘Is this really happening?’ The President’s humor and generosity are the only reasons this was even possible. He was so easy and fun to be with. Being President and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day.”
The show’s seventh season will premiere on the streaming service Crackle on Dec. 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET, according to the release.

I don’t know that I’ve seen Seinfeld in awe of someone before. Our President is awesome on so many fronts … and some are simply fun.
