President Barack Obama on Thursday arrived in the West Bank city of Ramallah to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
A military band sernaded the two leaders with the U.S. and Palestinian national anthems before they entered the Palestinian Authority headquarters together, according to a White House pool report. The report also noted that Obama’s limo faced a large banner that read “Palestinian State” with pictures of Abbas and the late Yasser Arafat.
