Newark, N.J. Mayor Cory Booker’s senate campaign on Monday released a video featuring President Barack Obama, in which Obama urged New Jersey residents to vote for the Democrat in Wednesday’s special election.
“On Wednesday, voters in New Jersey have the opportunity to vote for a leader with uncommon character: Cory Booker,” Obama said. “New Jersey also has the opportunity to send a message to the entire country about what kind of leadership we except from our representatives in Congress. That we’re better than the shutdown politics we’ve seen in Washington.”
