The National Rifle Association, the nation’s top gun lobby, is so riled about Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-W.Va) push for expanded background checks, that they’re running a new ad calling on West Virginia voters to urge Manchin to “honor his committment to the Second Amendment.”
The video recalls a previous campaign ad in which Manchin, who isn’t up for re-election until 2018, said he would defend Americans’ constitutional right to own a firearm.
