‘Nightly Show’ Reviews 2015’s Most Surprising Stories (VIDEO)

“The Nightly Show” recapped the most surprising stories of 2015 on Thursday night’s episode.

Rapper Pusha T, a guest panelist, said the most surprising story was President Barack Obama visiting the federal prison system. For contributor Mike Yard, it was the Rachel Dolezal race controversy.

Yard couldn’t believe that “a white person in America would decide to opt-out. I’m just saying, the Internet, everything tells you no. Why would you do that?”

Host Larry Wilmore closed out the episode with his suggestion for the most surprising story of 2015: the fall of comedian Bill Cosby.

“The whole fact that this long parade of women weren’t being listened to and it took a guy doing a stand-up act to listen to it. What really resonated with me was why aren’t we listening to women? Why are we taking 60 years, 60 years, to believe a woman? Sixty fucking years to believe a woman. It’s disappointing on so many levels,” Wilmore said to his all-male panel.
