Newt Gingrich told CNN reporter Shawna Shepherd on a ropeline Friday that he “hasn’t seen” the January unemployment numbers “yet.” Mitt Romney responded to the jobs report — which showed unemployment down for the fifth straight month — by saying President Obama’s economic policies have prevented a true recovery.
