Former Rep. Anthony Weiner tops all Democratic candidates in New York City’s hotly contested mayoral race.
Weiner leads City Council Speaker Christine Quinn by a margin of five points, 25 to 20 percent, according to a new NBC/Marist survey released Tuesday. Weiner trailed Quinn by 5 points in May.
The poll surveyed 1,118 registered voters from June 17 to June 21, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
