When CNN “State of the Union” host Jake Tapper asked House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in an interview aired Sunday whether she would miss House Speaker John Boehner — she was seemingly at a loss for words.
After stuttering for a few moments, Pelosi said she didn’t know if she would miss him.
Boehner announced Friday that he would resign from his post at the end of October.
“Know one thing, I have respect for my colleagues, I respect the people who send them here, I respect the fact that their caucus elected them to a leadership position, so John Boehner is a very fine person, he had his glorious moment with the pope coming this week, he is a devout Catholic, he’s a person we can agree to disagree without being negative about each other,” Pelosi said on CNN.
“But uh yeah, I don’t know if I’ll miss him, but here one day, we just work. We just work,” she said. “We barely have time for our close friends and some of our close friends are across the aisle. But it depends on what comes next.”

Wow! Stunningly honest. Thank you, my former Representative, Nancy Pelosi! I miss you. I’m still proud I was able to cast my vote for you numerous times when I lived in San Francisco – you are a very good Representative and a great Leader.
Naa, Pelosi’s aim is pretty good, she doesn’t miss much
Well, she got through that without dropping any f-bombs, she didn’t directly insult his manhood or parentage, but you really have to think he just wasn’t that popular of a guy around the office, you know? Yeesh.
Oh, she will miss him if the Republicans are stupid enough to put Steve King or Louie Gohmert in the Speaker’s Chair!
Kind of an irrelevant, idiotic question. One of those times I wish she had reached over, smacked Tapper upside his head and told him to grow the fuck up.
