A digital firm is encouraging furloughed workers to have a few drinks and unload their frustration on elected officials.

Revolution Messaging, which describes itself as “a leader in cutting-edge progressive strategies for a mobile world,” has built a website, drunkdialcongress.org, that allows mobile users to input their phone numbers and be connected to the office of a random member of Congress.

“Whether you are a furloughed worker, being forced to work for free, or just fed up at Capitol Hill. Call and yell at a random member of Congress,” the website reads before listing talking points and drink recipes.

The drunk-dial website references anecdotal reports that members of Congress were sauced as they worked to strike an eleventh-hour deal before the government shutdown on Oct. 1.
