Atlanta radio host Mike Bell was reportedly suspended Wednesday over a tweet he posted calling the first female baseball analyst at ESPN as “Tits McGhee.”
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that Bell, who works for the CBS-affiliated WZGC appeared to make a reference from movie “Anchorman” when he used the name to describe sports analyst Jessica Mendoza.
Bell deleted the tweet, but not before it was captured by @BoiledSports:

Bell pre-taped an apology that was played on air, according to AJC.
“I didn’t get it,” Bell reportedly said. “I get it now. There is no place for that kind of stuff on my show. I will be more mindful. I hope I can be a better talk show host and better person. This has been an eye-opening experience.”
He was suspended for a non-specific set of time, according to the report.
