The House Republican Women’s Policy Committee, re-established by Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) this year, will begin accepting male representatives as “associate members” in 2014, according to Roll Call.
A few men have already committed to joining the group, according to a report from the committe obtained by Roll Call.
The group will also bring on Michele Woodward, a former Reagan administration official, as a volunteer coach to help with messaging and strategy, something the men of the GOP have already been working on.
The committee will organize regular meetings with female staffers, for which working titles include “Heels on the Hill” and “Coffee with the Congresswoman.”
